Position Description
UNC Charlotte Student Legal Services, Inc. (SLS) is seeking student ambassadors to assist with student outreach and engagement during the Summer 2026 semester. This is an unpaid, volunteer position focused on representing SLS to the campus community.
The primary task for Summer Ambassadors is to attend the New Student Orientation (NSO) Resource Fair on behalf of SLS to provide outreach to incoming students. Please note that the NSO Resource Fair sessions are from 8:00-9:00am and ambassadors will need to set up for SLS at the Resource Fair by 7:30am (at the latest) ahead of each session. Other tasks include assisting with SLS social media efforts, planning future preventative educational programming, and increasing student engagement with SLS.
Required Applicant Qualifications
All applicants must be currently enrolled UNC Charlotte students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. Students who are graduating in Summer 2026 and students who are serving on the SLS Board of Directors are ineligible for this Summer semester position.

All applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026, and interviews are planned to take place the week of April 27, 2026.
